My vision, (perhaps wishful thinking), is that it will go the way of South Africa, Large numbers of Europeans will leave, and those who stay will learn how to get along. The Israeli Communist Party 2-3% of the population, has called for an end to the Jewish state. The MSM estimates the opposition at 10% of the population, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was much larger. The "hard left" is always underestimated and downplayed in the propaganda war.

I hope you’re right- the difference I see is that S Africa was not governed by religious zealots who thought it was God’s gift that they occupy greater Israel and that they were God’s chosen people or Jewish Supremacy. Or supported blindly by Christian Zionists in the US, or by all western governments. Or by all US Presidents and most Congress and the mainstream media machine…It was actually unpopular to be a bigot white supremacist in the days of S African Apartheid, Israeli Apartheid is mostly justified by politicians today as self defense.

From my perspective, the Palestinians are proud people who love their country. It gives them an identity they wouldn't have if they moved to Egypt or Jordan. They need our support now more than ever to help them preserve this. Trump may not want to appease Netanyahu, depending on feedback from constituents in the US. This is where we come in—by writing letters to editors, elected officials, and others, we must become vocal and let our voices be heard.

Ibfor one will continue to oppose Isreal's existence.

An apartheid state that committing genocide engaged in ethnic cleansing, forfeits any rights to existence

For the MSM the carpet bombing was not even that newsworthy so it will be no trouble for them to hide the ethic cleansing by stealth 😨 Which is definitely the goal of both the Israelis and the Americans. Trump said it out loud with his “ Gaza’s interesting .. “ spiel 😳

Since the Israelis have not defeated or weakened Hamas, just how could they remove 1.5 million Palestinians, the figure used by Trump recently, admitting it seems an expected death toll so far of 800,000. But how would they do it? Load them into trucks at gunpoint when so many have mobile phones and cameras? Take them where. The Jordanian or Egyptian borders where international journalists can film and count?

It just is not physically possible to ethnically cleanse Gaza quietly. Or at all.

I hope you’re right- but the ethnic cleansing could happen slowly through Palestinians being gradually pushed out- like the past 2 Nakbas- Palestinians who chose to remain can be limited to small plots of land under Israeli Apartheid subjugation- like the American Native Americans have been relegated to reservations. And you are giving too much credit to the media who will probably spread the propaganda narrative that Palestinians are leaving their land voluntarily and temporarily for their safety.

I don't think even that is possible anymore with mobile phones, cameras, intense focus from many people around the world who are on the side of the Palestinians, including 66% of young American Jews.

And Hamas is not defeated. They will fight the Israeli Extermination Forces wherever they appear. Neither are the Lebanese and Yemenis allied to the Palestinians defeated. And when the Syrians unite to throw out the Israeli occupiers, they will weaken Israel even more.

The mainstream media will continue the narrative but they have made themselves irrelevant.

You write well, but the writing would be more effective were it personalized...with your name instead of a non de guerre. A disembodied argument has little force. Also you should identify the commentator. The provenance of your ideas should be transparent,.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts- but since neither the commentator (political scientist John Mearshimer) nor I are the focus of my writing I do not feel that my work is any less transparent. - I want the reader to focus on the content not the author.
